Each appointment has a 1-hour booking minimum, which includes:
Up to 30 minutes of design time
Your tattoo session
An aftercare product to take home
Below is a starting point for pricing. Please note these are guidelines only — the final cost depends on things like size, detail, placement, and any design adjustments. I’ll always provide an estimate during the booking process so you know what to expect.
Starting prices by size
1”–2” pieces: from $130
2”–3” pieces: from $150
3”–4” pieces: from $175
Additional pricing details
Design time beyond the included 30 minutes is billed at $50/hr
Extra session time needed for fine detail or larger pieces is $100/hr
These numbers are meant as ballpark figures — every tattoo is unique, and I’ll always walk you through the details before we start.
My goal is to be as transparent and honest as possible. If I feel that I’m not the right artist for your vision (whether that’s because of style, scale, or placement), I’ll let you know and happily recommend someone who might be a better fit.
How do I know my final price?
When you book, I’ll provide you with an estimated price range based on your design, size, placement, and level of detail. In most cases, your final cost will land comfortably within that range.
The only time pricing might shift is if there are major changes along the way — like adjusting the size, adding new details, or significantly reworking the design. If that happens, I’ll always talk it through with you first so there are no surprises.
My goal is to keep the process clear and upfront so you feel confident about what to expect before we get started.

Yes — the minimum is $130 per person, no matter how tiny the tattoo is. Even for very small pieces, the process behind the scenes is the same: from email communication and design work to studio setup, sterilization, and cleanup.
That minimum ensures that every tattoo — big or small — gets the same level of care, safety, and attention to detail. And honestly? Tiny tattoos are some of my absolute favourites — proof that little things can carry big meaning.

Yes! To book your new ink, you’ll need to fill out a request form on Venue.Ink and place a $50 deposit to secure your spot.
Appointments allow me to set aside the right amount of time for your design and make sure it fits your schedule (and mine). As a new mom, I work within a set schedule to coordinate child-care needs — so having firm appointments is the best way to keep everything running smoothly for both of us.
A few important things to note:
If you’re booking multiple pieces in one session, I’ll let you know if your chosen date has enough time available.
If you’ve booked a bundle but decide to go smaller or choose fewer pieces at your appointment, you’ll still be responsible for the original bundle pricing.
Deposits are non-refundable and go toward your final tattoo cost.
Changes must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Rescheduling more than twice will require a new deposit. If an appointment is reschedule with 48 or more hours notice, the deposit will hold the rescheduled time.
Deposits are forfeited in cases of last-minute cancellations, late arrivals (more than 15 minutes), lack of valid ID, or no-shows.
This process helps me keep things fair, organized, and respectful of both your time and mine.

I know sometimes you need a custom piece by a specific date, and I’ll do my best to make it happen! Please note that requests outside my set booking hours do come with a little extra fee to account for the extra time and effort involved.
Additional Fee Structure:
Evenings or Weekends: An additional 25%–50% of the base price will apply. This helps cover time spent outside of regular hours, including evenings, weekends, or when I need to arrange childcare.
Statutory Holidays: I may open my schedule on certain statutory holidays—especially when my husband is already working—but for holidays outside of my standard holiday schedule, a similar 25%–50% fee will apply.
Booking Process:
If you’d like to request a special date, let me know when sending through your Venue.Ink request, or drop me a note at hello@cinderandink.com with the details. I’ll check my availability and let you know the fee if it applies.
Thanks so much for understanding! Your support helps me keep creating unique pieces while balancing my family and studio time.

All of my tattoos are custom designed just for you (with the exception of repeatable flash pieces). To get started, please share a few inspiration photos — this helps me understand the vibe, style, and placement you’re drawn to. From there, I’ll create something unique that’s tailored to you.
Think of it like school all over again: plagiarism is a no-go! In the tattoo world, copying someone else’s design is just as big of a no-no — both out of respect for the original artist and because I want your piece to feel special and one-of-a-kind.
Here’s how the design process usually works:
For more complex tattoos, I’ll send you the artwork a few days before your appointment.
For simpler designs, we’ll go over it together at the start of your session.
Final tweaks and approval always happen at the appointment.
Design changes:
Minor adjustments can easily be made at your appointment.
If you’d like to make bigger changes, please let me know at least 48 hours before your appointment so I have time to rework the design. If the redesign can’t be completed in time, we’ll rebook your appointment to make sure your new artwork gets the attention it deserves.
Additional charges may apply for redesigns, depending on the scope.
Open communication is key — I want you to feel comfortable sharing your ideas and feedback so your tattoo feels exactly right.

If you have any health conditions or concerns, you should consult with your doctor.
They will tell you if there are any issues or contraindications prior to you making an appointment!
Take a look at the precare guide - and ask any and all questions you have!
-
You must be at least 18, and bring government issued ID.
Read our precare Instructions on the CARE page!
Please respect your artist, come showered, exfoliated and ready to rock! If you are prone to dry skin make sure you moisturize leading up to your appointment. If you have a lot of body hair in the area you would like to get your tattoo, please shave prior to your appointment - just don’t nick yourself, get razor burn or use any wax/chemical hair removers!
*If you are getting finger or hand tattoos - make sure to wash your hair before your appointment, we will need to keep them from getting too wet during the healing process.
-
It is best to advise a health care professional before getting a tattoo if you are on any medications. This is for your safety. Please avoid taking supplements, blood thinners or ibuprofen prior to your appointment - only if it is safe to do so. If you are not sure, please contact your doctor.
There are certain contraindications to tattooing including: diabetes, psoriasis and allergic dermatitis.
-
Due to potential risks to both mother and child, it is highly advised against getting any tattooing while pregnant or nursing. Therefore, I will not be accepting any clients that are pregnant or nursing.

Yes — you’re welcome to bring a friend or family member along for support during your appointment. Having someone with you can make the experience more comfortable, and I’m totally fine with that.
However, please note that the studio is not a safe environment for children of any age. Between equipment, needles, and the focus required for tattooing, it’s not suitable for little ones. For both your comfort and my ability to concentrate, it’s best to arrange childcare ahead of time.
I completely understand that childcare can be tricky — and if you ever need to reschedule because of it, that’s okay! But for safety reasons, children cannot be present at your appointment.

Fine line tattoos are a specialized style made up of thin, delicate linework and soft shading. Because they’re created with very small, fine needles, the amount of ink deposited into the skin is lighter compared to traditional tattoo techniques. As a result, fine line tattoos often heal with a softer, lighter look — this is completely normal and part of the style’s charm.
That said, sometimes a design may heal lighter than you’d like, or you may decide you’d like your lines darkened or thickened. Don’t worry — a touch-up session is always included. The only cost for a touch-up is a $25 supply fee, which covers materials.
My goal is for you to love your tattoo long-term, so touch-ups are just part of the process to make sure it feels exactly right.
-
No problem! You can book a touch up anytime after the initial 4 week mark. There is a $25 tray fee that goes towards the cost of materials and set up, but my touch up time is always included. There are a number of factors as how tattoo s heal: a persons skin, lifestyle, aftercare, tattoo style, and so many more. The smaller the tattoo - the lighter the tattoo can heal, which may require touch ups!
