Cyndi Graham
Tattoo Artist based in Brooks, Alberta
I create small to medium scale tattoos that lean a little folk, a little instinct led, and always considered.
Some pieces are simple, some a little more detailed, but all are designed with intention and care.

The name Cinder + Ink came together naturally.
There is something about the word cinder that feels grounded and elemental. It also ties back to the roots of ink itself, where carbon and ash were used to create lasting marks.
It felt like the right fit. Simple, a little raw, and connected to the craft.

I’ve been an artist for as long as I can remember.
From designing posters for nationally touring bands to working in architecture in Calgary, creating has always been the through line. I spent years designing one of a kind homes, where every detail mattered and everything had to feel right, not just look right.
That way of thinking still shapes how I approach tattooing. Structure, balance, and the quieter, harder to name feeling of something just working. Placement, scale, and flow matter just as much as the design itself.

Outside of tattooing, music is a big part of my life.
I’m a bit of a concert junkie, and my husband is the same. He actually built the playlist I use during appointments. You probably will not recognize most of the songs, but they are all guaranteed to be good. It keeps the space feeling relaxed, a little unexpected, and easy to settle into.

At home, life is a mix of creative work and real life.
I’m a toddler mom, and we have two dogs, Hank our Bernese Mountain Dog and Lennon our Siberian Husky.
It is a full house in the best way.

Most tattoos start as a simple idea and build from there.
You do not need to have everything figured out. That is part of what we do together.
I keep the process collaborative, thoughtful, and low pressure.
Whether you come in with a clear idea or just a starting point, we will shape it into something that feels right for you.
If my work resonates with you, I would love to make something that feels like you.
